MotorSilk® & LubriSilk® - New Products with Boron CLS Bond® Technology
The Boron CLS Bond® Technology in MotorSilk® and LubriSilk® products provide significant reductions in fuel costs and maintenance costs when used in transportation, industrial, marine and agricultural equipment. MotorSilk® and LubriSilk® are readily biodegradable products, with concentrated Boron CLS Bond® technology, formulated for engines, transmissions, as well as gear boxes bearings, motors, pumps and specialized industrial, marine and agricultural equipment. These long-lasting treatments create a solid boundary layer lubricant on the metal surfaces, virtually for the equipment lifetime; delivering substantially lower friction and wear, extending equipment service life while providing continuous fuel savings, maintenance savings and lower carbon emissions.
Just pour it in and MotorSilk® and LubriSilk® formulations produce a unique process that chemically bonds with metal surfaces and creates a solid boundary layer lubricant which remains in place, providing long-term protection. These treatments integrate with existing synthetic and petroleum lubricants, with existing protocols; with no changes needed to established practices.
Just pour MotorSilk® in and MotorSilk® and LubriSilk® treatments deliver up to 80% reduction in friction and 90% reduction in wear, compared to synthetic or petroleum lubricants alone. (See test data below)
Boron CLS Bond® technology was developed for NASA at the U.S. Department of Energy Argonne National Lab researching ‘extreme condition lubricants’ for use in space.
